BUBIC recruits volunteers and provides them with training to ensure they have the confidence and relevant skills to undertake their volunteering role. Some other benefits to volunteering with us are being part of a team, gaining experience, and keeping active.

 

Although not limited to those with lived experience, many of our volunteers are ex-drug users who understand the struggles that other users may be facing and are able to support other addicts in coming to terms with their addiction and provide practical and emotional support. Some of the other areas in which we place our volunteers are administration, data inputting, day and night outreach, managing stalls and events
