As our organisation has grown and our services developed we have recognised the importance of providing accessible and flexible opportunities for our clients to gain a greater sense of self and undertake activities that enable them to acquire new skills.
Many of our clients lack the confidence to access mainstream education and training opportunities and/or find it difficult to maintain concentration and focus in a traditional teaching environment.
We have therefore developed a Gateway Qualifications programme to provide access to certificated learning outcomes for our clients in the hope that they may experience an increase in levels of self worth and self esteem and from this increase their general levels of health and well-being. Additionally we hope that by undertaking training in an accessible ‘bite size’ format our clients will continue their education and training journey. We believe a certificated route of training is a motivational tool to being abstinent.
This is in contrast to the ethos held by many organisations that you have to be ‘clean’ before being able to change your habitual behaviors.Additionally we offer our certificated programmes as bespoke packages to other organisations and individuals from the local community.
